Over the past several years the WPSF has been focused on its Capital Campaign, which raised over $30,000 to remodel the Woodstown High School weight room. This campaign was a 3-year project that was completed in the Winter of 2012, one year ahead of schedule. In 2013, our Capital Campaign helped fund the new sound system in the Woodstown High School auditorium. We would like to thank all the individuals and businesses who donated to the Campaign during the past several years to make these significant improvements possible.
Going forward, the WPSF is planning its next big fundraiser and Capital Campaign. Please join us for the Woodstown Fall Festival Run for Education on Saturday, September 28, beginning at 8:00 am. This run was initially called Jog for Johnny, and most recently Aprils Run. Both proved to be great fundraisers. The Woodstown Pilesgrove School Foundation looks forward to using this wonderful annual community event to raise money for the Woodstown Pilesgrove School District. To register for the Run for Education, simply complete the Registration Form. To register online for the race, please click here. To donate to the Run as a sponsor, simply complete the Community Member Pledge Sheet.
All proceeds from the Run for Education and Capital Campaign fundraising efforts this year will go towards the Mary Shoemaker Elementary School Multipurpose Room floor renovation project.
If you would like to make a contribution earmarked for these projects, please contact the WPSF at WPFoundation@woodstown.org. In the comment section, please request information to donate to the Capital Campaign.
